HOUSE LEVELLING (RE-LEVEL)

House Levelling involves moving it back to the position it was in during construction. When a house’s subfloors, which may have sunk for a number of reasons, are mechanically raised to adjust their heights, the house has been relevelled. To raise and level the base back to the desired level and height, hydraulic jacks are positioned under the home. Terms and Conditions for Quotes and Services

By engaging in our house leveling and repiling services, the client agrees to the following terms and conditions:

  1. SCOPE OF WORK
    The Services provided will include the re-levelling and repiling of the property as outlined in the initial quote, covering necessary labour, materials and equipment required to perform the job. Any additional work outside the original scope must be agreed upon in writing and may incur additional charges.
  2. QUOTED PRICE
    The quoted price for house levelling, as outlined in the estimate, is based on the current understanding of the Scope of Work. The total price includes labour, materials and GST. Any adjustments to the scope or unforeseen complications that arise during the process may result in a revision of the final cost, which will be communicated and approved by the client before proceeding.
  3. PAYMENT TERMS
    Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the quoted price is required before work begins.
    Final Payment: The balance is due upon completion of the project or as per the payment schedule outlined in the agreement.
    Payment methods accepted include bank transfer and cash Payments not received within 14 days of invoicing may be subject to late fees.
  4. WORK SCHEDULE
    The estimated duration of the leveling work will be outlined in the quote.
    This timeline is subject to change based on weather conditions, availability of materials, or unforeseen structural issues.
    The client will be notified promptly of any delays or changes to the schedule.
  5. ACCESS TO PROPERTY
    The client must provide the service team with clear and unrestricted access to the property and foundation areas during the course of the work. This includes ensuring that any obstacles (e.g., furniture, debris, or landscaping) are removed prior to the start of the job.
  6. STRUCTURAL CONDITIONS
    Our team will conduct a preliminary inspection to assess the foundation and structure of the house. However, if hidden damage or structural issues are discovered during the leveling process, these may require additional work, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding. The client acknowledges that re-leveling may uncover issues such as structural damage, cracks, or other pre-existing conditions that could impact on the overall stability of the home. Any repairs required to address these issues will be quoted separately.
  7. LIABILITY
     Our team will take all necessary precautions to prevent damage to the property during the leveling process. However, the company is not liable for pre-existing damage or conditions that may become more apparent after leveling is completed. The company is not responsible for damage to landscaping, driveways, or other surfaces unless directly caused by the leveling process.
  8. WARRANTY
     We offer a warranty of [12 months] on the re-leveling work, covering any structural settling or misalignment related to the work completed. This warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors such as earthquakes, flooding, or other natural disasters.
  9. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING
    If the client wishes to cancel or reschedule the work, a minimum of 7 days’ notice must be provided. Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled start date may result in a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the deposit amount. In the event that work is delayed or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the client, additional charges may apply.
  10. FORCE MAJEURE
     The company is not liable for any delays or failure to perform due to events outside of its control, including but not limited to extreme weather, labor strikes, supply chain disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances
  11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
    Any disputes arising from this agreement will be handled in good faith through mediation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute may be escalated to arbitration or litigation, as mutually agreed upon by both parties.
  12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
    By accepting the quote and scheduling the work, the client acknowledges that they have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them
